Welcome to the only site dedicated to dropping your phone and protecting your phone from drops, dunks and Dunlops (tires)

Welcome to I Dropped My Phone, by the Organization Of Phone Protection and Security (OOPPS)

We know what a bummer it can be to drop your phone, see it fall through the air for a few brief moments, and then land screen first right on the concrete. Gorilla Glass shatters like tortilla chips from such impacts.

The Organization Of Phone Protection and Security knows what it’s like to drop your phone right into the toilet (Yuck!). We’ve experienced that sick-stomach sensation as you wonder, “How am I going to get that thing out of there?”.

We, like some of you, have run over our phones, or had our phones run over by others. We’ve cringed violently as rubber pressed phone into road and we’ve seen the tire marks across our phone’s bodies.

OOPPS knows your pain, and we want to help take it away.

Your phone is damaged. Now what?

There are a number of ways a phone can be damaged, and for most of them, there is a repair solution. Here are the most common ways a phone can be destroyed, as documented in the song I Dropped My Phone.

Dropped phone

Awww crud! You dropped your phone. The screen is chipped, it looks like a spider-on-crack spun out all over it. You weren’t being reckless or anything, but accidents happen, and your phone lost its vision. Continue reading “Your phone is damaged. Now what?”

The Organization Of Phone Protection and Security is a multimedia marketing project by songwriter Orion Williams and a way to support his latest song I Dropped My Phone and its accompanying music video.

The inspiration for I Dropped My Phone

Orion dropped his phone on the concrete walkway while leaning over to pluck a weed.

After dropping his phone, a Microsoft Lumia 950XL, it landed squarely screen down on the pavement. Orion hoped with all his might that the screen would be “OK”. As he cautiously lifted the phone from the sidewalk and rotated it, his fears were realized. That once-glorious high resolution screen was shattered, chipped, and scratched.

Dejected and mildly depressed, Orion went into his house and reported the damage to his wife and children. They understood that this was a difficult time for Orion, as he values technology and generally takes great care with all of his belongings.

Orion found a coping method in a familiar place, songwriting. He began putting his tale of loss into rhyme, and before long was chuckling to himself. He had taken lemons and made lemonade.

You want to contact me? I told you I dropped my phone!!

Just kidding. I mean, I did actually drop my phone, but I’ve since replaced it. That’s not what I meant.

Since this entire website is mostly just a way to get people to listen to my song I Dropped My Phone and laugh at my expense, I don’t actually expect anyone to contact me through this site.

However, if you are so inclined, you can leave a comment on my YouTube video, or on my Facebook page, or you can tweet me. Feel free to tell me how much you liked I Dropped My Phone. I would love to hear that. 🙂 The song is available on iTunes, Google Play, Groove Music, Spotify, Amazon,…blah blah blah, it’s everywhere! If you enjoy the song immensely, download a copy.

I hope you enjoy the song/video. I also hope that if your phone is sick, that it makes a speedy recovery. If your phone is in healthy working condition, please keep it that way. A screen protector and phone case can save you hundreds of dollars in cash and hours of your time. Take care!
